— Although Bee Mana Royal Jelly is a superfood and not a pharmaceutical drug, the following is NOT FDA approved.–
Royal Jelly is being tested for the ability to regenerate DNA and RNA to assist with degenerative diseases, such as Parkinson’s & Alzheimer’s. It is being looked at for the possibility of decreasing tumor growth with its 10-HDA compound, a unique fatty acid found ONLY in Royal Jelly.
It’s also being evaluated for the possible ability to regulate blood sugar levels, helping with Type 2
Royal Jelly even has studies to suggest it may one day be used for its 10-HDA to reduce the intensity and frequency of herpes outbreaks.
This is all based on laboratory data. More studies are being put together every day. .
No patent exists on royal jelly because it already exists in nature, being created by bees, not men in labs! Pharmaceutical corporations can’t control it or monetize it. There’s no way for them to charge prescription fees, bill health insurance companies or pay for advertisements or
pharmaceutical sales reps.

What are your bees fed?
Our bees are feed on the natural products the collect and create: honey, royal jelly, and bee pollen.
This is in stark contrast to 99% of all other apiaries, both conventional and organic, whom feed their bees sugar derived from corn, beets and cane (even organic bee products can be fed organic sugar).
Our understanding is that the feeding of these unnatural products, even organic ones, is contributing to Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD), an issue largely affecting American beekeepers due to many practices that have been used over several decades, that are finally starting to accumulate in what we are now identifying as CCD.
Because we want to be a part of the solution, we make sure to give our bees a break during the mid fall to early spring, so that we do not have to resort to unnatural beekeeping methods of feeding our bees “simple syrups” (basically sugar water) so they continually produce honey through the coldest months of the year (there are usually no flowers in winter!).
What is the difference between your royal jelly and any other brand?
Our raw royal jelly powder is vacuum dried within 4 to 6 hours of it being harvested from the hives, whereupon the water content is removed halting the oxidation process. Most (if not all) liquid (fresh) royal jelly on the market is actually quite rancid. This, in my personal opinion does not qualify as a “raw” product and is quite objectionable taste-wise.
Also, this process of removing the water allows us to keep the potency very high, so every teaspoon that you eat of it, is equal to 3 teaspoons of liquid royal jelly.
What is the shelf life of Bee Mana? How does it need to be stored?
Our Organic Royal Jelly does not spoil if it sits on your cupboard shelf and has a very long shelf life (at least 2 years / 24 months).
You do not need to refrigerate our royal jelly. This is because of the low temperature dehydration process that it goes through within just a few hours of leaving the hive. This inhibits oxidation of the fatty acids and other more delicate compounds.
Just be sure to keep it in a cool and dark space as both excess heat and light will work to reduce the potency of the royal jelly.
If you are considering storing it for longer than 24 months, then you may want to consider refrigerating it, though it is still most likely not necessary.
Is your product really raw? What about other royal jellies on the market?
The vacuum drying process is done below 98 degrees F and retains the enzymes, fatty acids, amino acids, and other highly volatile compounds that are intrinsic to the deeply healing nature of royal jelly.
I have heard that locally produced bee products better. Is this true?
Yes, and we support local, certified organic and bio-dynamic farming practices. When the product is produced under these guidelines, where you are assured the beekeeper is not using miticides, pesticides on the crops that the bees are collecting from, take measures to avoid heavy metal exposure (like metallic elements in the bee’s hives), and that the bees are not being fed “simple syrup” (which is basically cane or beet sugar that has been diluted in water in order to continue production of honey and royal jelly through the winter, a time when bees are supposed to be resting), then yes, those are better products.
It is my humble opinion that if you can not get locally produced certified organic royal jelly that is directly out of the hive and has not been sitting around for months in a refrigerator, our product is the next best thing.
How much do I take?
As with all bee products, first consult with your healthcare provider to ensure you have no allergies to any bee products. If you are sure you can take them safely, start with a very small amount. A good starting amount is around 1/16th of a teaspoon, so you can most effectively determine your body’s response to a new food like royal jelly.
Remember, Bee Mana is three times more concentrated than liquid royal jelly, so go slow.
Once you determine how much feels good to you, you can slowly increase your intake over time, usually over the course of 1 to 2 weeks.
Eventually you can work up to a solid longevity-inducing dose of approximately 2 teaspoons. This will of course all be determined on your body type, weight and sensitivity, so use your own discernment in knowing what is right for you.
How do I use Bee Mana?
The most traditional way I have seen royal jelly used is with the other products of the beehive, honey, bee pollen and propolis.
Combine one tablespoon of high quality, unheated raw honey with 1/4 teaspoon Bee Mana, a very small amount (a pinch will suffice) of propolis powder extract or one dropper if a liquid extract, along with a tablespoon of bee pollen. Mix this well and then eat and chew it slowly, allowing your saliva to thoroughly mix with the concoction.
In western herbalism, this is one of the quintessential energy tonics and can be used almost anytime for a quick boost.
Another way you can enjoy Bee Mana is to simply put it in your smoothie (blueberry smoothies are a favorite). Usually 1 to 2 teaspoons is more than enough. If you are doing a intense anabolic training routine, you can also experiment with higher dosages. We have found that upwards of 3 to 4 tablespoons have a VERY powerful building effect on the body. Again, use your common sense with dosage.
Lastly, as per Classical Chinese Medicine using honey as the binding agent, you can also combine Bee Mana with other powdered herbs. The most notable in the Chinese classic texts is to combine it with a very high quality white Chinese or red Koren ginseng (Panax Ginseng). Alternatively you can use white American ginseng (Panax Quinquefolius) for a more Yin, replenishing and cooling effect. The other important herb that royal jelly is classically compounded with is red reishi mushroom. Used as an extract, red reishi mushroom and royal jelly have been used as a spiritual potentiator for nourishing the brain on both the physical and energetic level.
Where does your royal jelly come from?
As with all of our premium-sourced medicinals, Bee Mana royal jelly is sourced from the cleanest and most pristine mountain regions we can find. In this case it is in the deep inland countryside of Zhejiang, China.
Our apiaries are a distributed network that are no located in one specific region, although the one characteristic of all the locations is that they are in relatively remote mountainous areas, far away from any industrialization and potential pollutants.
How can bee products be certified as organic? Don’t bees freely roam to any plant the choose? How do you make sure they aren’t collecting from GMO crops?
Bee products, in general, can be Certified Organic via testing (we have ours 3rd party tested for any of 250 broad spectrum contaminants, like streptomycin). This does several things to ensure quality control of organic standards.
1) It allows us to see if the bee keepers are feeding their bees sugar. Even organic sugar, usually derived from sugar cane, sugar beet or corn, has residual chemicals in the finished product that are transferred to the bees products. If it is in the products and we test for it, we know that something is awry.
2) If the bees are collecting from non-organic crops, GM crops or any other form of industrial pollution, we will also know this via the testing. Since everything they collect picks up on the tests, we can determine if they are collecting from trees treated with pesticides, herbicides, etc.
3) There is an “assumed” radius for the bees to collect from. Our bees primarily collect from Certified Organic tea (Camellia Sinensis) plants. Since there is such a density of flowers available in one area, the “assumption” is that the bees have no need to travel beyond approximately 10 kilometers in order to get their food needs met. This inherently limits how far they will travel (since they do not need to with an abundance of flowers to collect from nearby) and thus the potential for collecting from contaminated crops is reduced and this is confirmed by the testing.
4) Since our collective of farmers is located inland in relatively mountainous regions, there is little in the way of industrialization. The land is rural and predominantly composed of farming communities. Because of this, there is not much for people to introduce that could harm the bees or adversely affect their products.
Are the bees harmed in being cared for? How about during the harvesting of their products?
It would be unrealistic for me to claim that no bee’s are hurt at any point. However, with that being said, I do know that the environment and harvesting techniques are specifically designed to minimize any kind of distress to the bees. It is basically counter-productive to the farmers to be invasive, as the stress causes the bees to produce less of their products (royal jelly, honey, propolis, pollen, etc).
As an example of the kinds of methodologies that are incorporated, the bee farmers are all (there are more than 150 that act as a farmers co-op) required to have their bee hives created with out the use of metals, such as metal nails. This is done to limit and eliminate potential contaminants of heavy metals (often adulterants in steel, iron and aluminum manufacturing) that can transfer into the bees and theirВ products.
While it is not perfect, we are always striving to be better. In this, we take every precaution to make sure our bees are taken care of. We can not produce excellent products if there are no bees to make them, so it is in our best interest to make sure our bees are healthy, happy and able to thrive in all circumstances.
What is royal jelly good for?
Royal Jelly has been considered a brain, sexual and energy tonic by the Chinese for over 3000 years. It has been known to affect the growth of new nerve cells and reproductive cells.
Royal Jelly also contains many other compounds for anti-aging (RNA/DNA, Zinc, Collagen, DHEA precursors, etc) purposes and has long been revered as one of the ultimate Yin Jing Tonics (replenishes and builds our ability to deal with physical stress and work).
One of the most prominent uses was as a beauty tonic both used internally and used externally compounded with honey and several other ingredients.
How is your product processed?
Our product is vacuum dehydrated at a low temperature to rapidly wick away moisture to preserve the royal jelly, while still maintaining its enzymatic potency. This is apparent in the taste of our royal jelly versus the other brands.
The other brands taste slightly rancid (which they are) and ours tastes very clean and h3, with all of the 5 flavors present (sweet, salty, pungent, sour and bitter)
The powder is then packaged in sterilized HDPE bags and again packaged in light blocking packaging to maintain the photosensitive qualities of the royal jelly.
